I grew up on Lake Erie, but the winters there proved to be too much for my father and we moved to Southern California. I spent the better part of forty years there...it was truly a dramatic change from Pennsylvania’s northeast to be sure. Although Southern California was good to me, I yearned for a simpler life. Forty years of 24/7 go, go, go can take its toll on anyone and it did me. Accordingly, I relocated to the Delaware shore in 1986 and that decision resulted in positive business and personal rewards. It has given me the opportunity to enjoy the diversity of our changing seasons as well as the fast-paced seasonal excitement that the Delaware beaches offer. The colorfully brisk, clear nature of our spring and fall time periods is something which didn’t exist in Southern California, and when coupled with our stark and pristine winters and sub-tropical summers, it makes for my own little bit of heaven...truly a very special place to call home.
Although my vocation is residential real estate sales, my avocation centers around golf. I played competitive golf in high school and college and never lost the bug. What a great way to enjoy all that mother nature has to offer...and unlike Southern California, the Eastern Shore has a plethora of world-class golf courses that are readily available and affordable. What can I say...I’m in a constant state of golfer euphoria.
My son, Dolan, is an accomplished and award winning architect who resides and works in Los Angeles. His wife, Kristi, is also an architect and they have given me a beautiful granddaughter, Aelan. I believe I live a life of the best of both worlds. I get to visit the land of fruits and nuts, get energized, soak in some rays and then can leave for the peace and quiet of my chosen home...the Delaware shore.

Experience:
I have spent substantially my entire adult life working in some form of the real estate industry. In particular, the last 30 years right here in Coastal Sussex County specializing in the sale of residential real estate. Specifically, I spent 15 years in the sale and development of Kings Creek Residential Community and Country Club in Rehoboth Beach. Thereafter, I moved south to West Fenwick Island and was involved with the sale and development of several Bunting Construction Company projects...namely Bayville Shores, The Refuge and Sandy Branch. During this time frame my primary focus has been in the sale of residential resort properties.
Prior to moving to Delaware in 1986, I lived and worked in Newport Beach, California and was employed by Coldwell Banker as CEO of one of their real estate divisions. After graduating from college, I was hired by Ernst & Young, also in Newport Beach. During my time as a CPA, I gained valuable knowledge regarding other types of real estate businesses including, hotels, office buildings, shopping centers and apartment buildings.
